DDCC #76: Easel Card {Theme: Repeat Something}

It's time for another challenge round at DDCC. This time we'll be bussy with easel cards. As an extra challenge we have added a theme to it as well: repeat something. For who has no idea what easel cards are, let alone knowing how to make them, there's a tutorial at the bottom of this post. I had to look it up myself too, so don't be ashamed if you don't know them yet.

Mijn kaart staat vol herhalingen.

My card is full of repetitions. Must be because I tend to repeat myself so often ;) However: the polka-dot pattern repeats itself in tree, grass and buttons. The buttons itself are repeated as well. The grass repeats itself. The colours green and orange come back. And last but not least the embroidered stitches: that's a repeating pattern too :D

Ezelkaart:

Easel Card:
I'll describe a card of certain measures, but of course you can vary the sizes as you wish. You can even change the model. It works like this:

Cut a piece of cardstock of 10 x 20 cm (4 x 8 inch) and fold it in the length. Fold one of the folded sides again. This is where you will attatch your square card to, when it's finished.
Cut a piece of cardstock of the same colour at 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inch). Embellish it like you would normally design your card. When you're ready, adhere it to the twice folded side. Look at the example to see how it looks like.
Now embellish the laying part, meaning the part where your square card rests on. Make sure you use something which allows the standing part to rest to.
Your easel card is finished.

Wat een leuke kaart! :D
