Bird In Cage

Another page I did a while ago. A nice example of how it actually shouldn’t be. I had made a stencil out of cardstock. The idea was to make pretty circles with gesso. The gesso got kind of sucked under the stencil and all that came out were some circle ish kind of blots. So I went through the stencil with a pen to mark the edges and doodled around that. In my box of paper scraps, I found some circles that fitted well. The bird and the cage were cut out of chipboard. I have altered them with gesso and distress ink. After that I have put a layer of Crackle Accents on top of the cage.
