It's not my habit to put youtube movies on my blog, but I just saw this on telly and went to search the film on the internet at once and I want to share this with you so much. It's about a bird. A lyre bird to be exact. Have a look at (more important: listen to) the bird who can immitate all kinds of sounds: the call of the kookaburra, a reflexcamera, caralarm and (how sad) even the chainsaws that are used to cut down his forest.

Master Imitator
Het is niet mijn gewoonte filmpjes van youtube op mijn blog te plaatsen, maar ik zag dit op tv en heb het filmpje direct opgezocht en wil het graag met jullie delen. Zo bijzonder. Het is een vogel. De liervogel om precies te zijn. In het filmpje zie je hoe goed deze vogel geluiden kan immiteren: de lokroep van een kookaburra, een reflexcamera, autoalarm en (hoe triest) zelfs de kettingzagen waarmee zijn bos wordt omgehakt.
