The Hague. It's raining cats and dogs and in the centre of the governementcity people have to get warmed up for coming cultural season. That seams a mission impossible. Thus it took me a few hours to gather the courage and go into the cold wetness. So I missed the first part of the festival. And for a moment I thought I'd better have stayed home. The Nits (once a very famous, succesful and totally cool Dutch band) gave a deeply depressing concert. The music is old, they are old ... and they'd better kept the image of the popular band of yesterday for a memory.
Di-rect (also a Dutch band and very hot at the moment) compensated a very lot and now I even consider going to their performance of The Who's Rock Opera "Tommy". Final performance was by the Dutch Giovance who is a charming lady with a voice so great. Even though it was still raining badly all of a sudden it felt like temperature was rising and the sun began to shine. Jazz with a sunny influence.
